Location:
Description:
This person will provide desktop support for Lincoln Operations. They will
maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and
computer peripherals. They will also upgrade and/or replace hardware and
software systems as required. Other duties as required by management.
Education:
Associates degree in IT or a related field OR equivalent training preferred.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in desktop, network and/or server support.
Must have reliable transportation
to make local service calls.
Available to work on-call
rotation after hours.
Basic electronics repair/installation
knowledge required.
Wiring, cabling experience strongly preferred.
Some experience in field service preferred.
Some experience in customer training preferred.
Physical:
Required to lift up to 50 lbs. 75lbs
may be required in some instances.
Required to climb and stand on ladders, sometimes for extended periods of time.
Required to stand in and crawl through tight spaces occasionally under extreme
temperatures (attics, crawl spaces, utility access, etc). Crawl space access
may be as small as 16 inches.
Required to work with tools while reaching above your head for extended periods
of time.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
Must be a self-starter. This person will need to work independently. Knowledge
of Windows 2000, Windows XP and Microsoft Office is required. Windows Server
2000, Windows Server 2003 and network knowledge is a plus.
Part-Time position.
Compensation negotiable based on education and experience.
Schedule is flexible, but must be dependable.
